    Pakistan: Imran Khan, Bishra Bibi get interim bail extension in May 9 cases; court adjourns multiple hearings till Jan 27

    Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi had their interim bail extended by local courts in the May 9 violence cases and several other pending matters. The hearings have been adjourned until January 27, with Khan required to appear either in person or via video link. Khan, jailed since 2023, faces multiple charges, including attempted murder and submission of fake receipts, while Bushra Bibi also faces allegations related to Toshakhana gifts and violations of the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Act.
